The exciting 6abc Dunkin' Thanksgiving Day Parade takes place every Thanksgiving in the heart of Philadelphia.

Need to know
The parade route is 1.4-miles and steps off from the intersection of 20th Street and JFK Boulevard, turns left onto 16th Street and then left onto Ben Franklin Parkway. The whole parade route is free and open to the public, except for a small number of grandstand seats in the telecast area that are reserved for sponsors and VIPs.

The 6abc Dunkin' Thanksgiving Day Parade was first held in 1920 and is currently the oldest Thanksgiving parade in the United States (having been held through the Great Depression and World War II).
