The Rijeka Carnival takes place each year from the middle of January to the middle of February.
The streets are crowded with thousands of people wearing masks and competing for many titles, including that of the most original mask.
This is a fantastic time to visit beautiful Croatia with the town's streets, promenades, restaurants and hotels filled with music, laughter and joy. A lot of activities are organized including carnival parades and a pageant!
The best way to experience the Rijeka Carnival is to come and live it with all your senses. The Rijeka Carnival must be lived and experienced!
