Cherry Blossom Festival

Cherry Blossom Festival

In 2009, Nashville made it a goal to plant 1,000 cherry trees within 10 years. Each year, during the spring, we celebrate those cherry trees and the friendship between Japan and America with an annual festival. It kicks off with a Cherry Blossom Walk at 9am, followed by festivities at Public Square Park that include demonstrations and exhibits of Japanese culture, the Ginza Marketplace with Japanese products, Taste of Japan with food from local Japanese restaurants, youthful Japanese culture, live entertainment, and much more.
