What is the Deer Valley Music Festival?
Deer Valley is a resort near beautiful Park City, Utah and the summer home of the Utah Symphony Orchestra. Each summer for eight weeks in July and August, the symphony plays in the mountains for a casual and relaxed festival. The orchestra puts on a series of concerts accompanied by diverse musical acts from the likes of the Beach Boys and Elvis Costello to Ben Folds and LeAnn Rimes.
Most events are held outdoors, where guests can enjoy the music and take in the stunning scenery of the surrounding Wasatch Mountains. The festival is one of Utah’s most popular cultural events and is unique way to enjoy the performing arts and the outdoors together.
Need to Know
Popular acts do sell out, so make sure to check the schedule and book early.
While days are sunny and bright, evenings can be cool in the mountains so make sure to bring some extra layers – and some mosquito spray!
