What is the Dinant International Bathtub Regatta?

Dinant International Bathtub Regatta is made up of a fleet of floating bathtubs each with its own unusual adornments and original decorations. The regatta was first organized in 1982 and has since grown from being a small, local event to an exciting international gathering.

The regatta is one kilometre long and runs along the River Meuse in the Belgian town of Dinant.

About 50 tubs compete each year but there isn't a limit on how many people can ride in a single tub.
