The Salamanca fair begins with the celebration of the Virgen de la Vega.
Everyone gets together in their traditional costumes to attend the beautiful procession that goes from the beautiful Church of the Holy Trinity of Arrabal to the City Cathedral. When the procession arrives at the Plaza Anaya, a floral tribute is offered to the Virgin.
Visitors shall be amazed with a whole week of concerts and other activities through out the city. There are many feasts available in different stalls with a medieval market, workshops, bullfights and a verbena full of fluorescent lights, walks, music and food.
