What is Holi NYC?
Holi is known the world over as the Hindu celebration of colours that represent happiness, love and the freedom to live vibrantly.
The Holi celebrations in India are justifiably on most travelers' bucket-list , but more and more cities around the world are hosting their own equivalent parties and NYC is one not to be missed!
The Holi Hai festival takes place on Governors Island along with a Festival of Colors in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
Need to know
New York City has a whole series of Holi Celebrations on the weekends before and after the traditional Holi celebrations.
Did you know?
The tradition of throwing colours on Holi draws its roots from the legend of Radha and Krishna.
