Happening yearly in May, during the Calaveras County Fair, the world's finest frog jockeys meet on Angels Camp, California to contest in a Frog Jumping tournament.
The contest is inspired by a Mark Twain story and the event has been occurring for more than 90 years.
The rules here are simple: the frog has to be an American bullfrog, and the winner is determined by how far the frog jumps in three hops.
The winner obtains $700, a trophy, and is immortalized in the sidewalk in the town's prominent Hop of Fame.
