Every year, on the weekend before Buddha's birthday, an amazing celebration takes place in South Korea which is the Lotus Lantern Festival.

By lighting lanterns at the Yeon Deung Hoe Festival, participants brighten their own hearts as well as the world. People flock to South Korea from all over the world to attend this festival.

After the parade, there is dancing followed by thousands of wish lanterns being released into the sky. The festival ends with a parade towards the front of Jogyesa Temple.
