Every year, Spain celebrates L'ou Com Balla with great zeal of happiness during Corpus Christi Day.

The whole event focus is an egg placed in a fountain that, dances through the water jet. This festival holds its origin from the Cathedral of Barcelona in the 15th & 17th Centuries.

This egg symbolizes fertility, resurgence and good omen. The places where this dancing dance can be found are Frederic Museum gardens, the Casa de LArdiaca, or Poble Espanyol.

Moreover, plants, fruits, and flowers are placed to prevent the egg from falling down. There is a total of 12 eggs dancing in the patios of 12 public buildings for the curiosity of visitors.
