What is Malta Independence Day?
Malta won its political independence from Great Britain on the 21st of September, 1964.
Since then, many festivities and activities take place on every 21 September, to properly celebrate this day.

The Independence monument commemorating this historic day can be found in Floriana, in front of the public garden area known as The Mall and facing the entrance into Valletta.
