La Fete du Citron (Lemon Festival) in Menton is one of the world's unique events that attracts more than 240,000 visitors every year.
They all come to witness the town on the French/Italian border celebrate the citrus fruit with results that never cease to amaze the visitors year after year. Just imagine designs up to 10 metres tall, incredible decorations, and floats requiring over 140 tonnes of oranges and lemons.
For three weeks, the Jardins Bioves [Bioves Gardens] and the streets of this pretty town are given over to these citrus giants. With processions of floats, gardens of lights and the exhibition of giant designs, come and discover this fantasy world, and move to the rhythm of a simply unforgettable event.
