What is the Minnesota Renaissance Festival?
The Minnesota Renaissance Festival is an outdoor interactive event focusing on reproducing the look and feel of a fictional 16th century "England-like" fantasy kingdom.

The festival is open on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from August to October. Various types of tickets are available including weekend and season passes.

The Minnesota Renaissance Festival was first held in 1971 with over 25,000 people in attendance for the festival's grand opening. It has grown to become the United States' largest Renaissance Festival with an annual attendance of 300,000.
