What is the Monte Carlo Jazz Festival?

There is nowhere quite like Monte Carlo, and it doesn't get more special than seeing creativity come alive at its annual jazz festival. If you love funky beats, exceptional music and good rhythm in a spectacular setting you are in the right place.

This prestigious festival began in 2006 under H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco.  During the extensive program of concerts and events, you can expect to see up and coming jazz artists alongside legendary musicians. Previous artists that have performed at the festival include Avishai Cohen, Raoul Midon, Thomas Dutronc, Roy Hargrove, Esperanza Spalding, Kyle Eastwood, Vincent Peirani and Anne Paceo.

The festival is held in the historic Monte Carlo Opera House, which is located inside Monte Carlo's infamous casino.
