What is the Oman Desert Marathon?
The Oman Desert Marathon is a 165 km four-stage desert self-sufficient race is held in the Sultanate of Oman.
The course is perfectly designed to embrace the desert landscape and is one of the world's most beautiful locations for an endurance event.
At the end of the long race, participants are served a special meal and the final day can be spent resting and swimming at the warm springs of Wadi Bani Khalid.
Need to know
The course will start from the Alwasil Oasis of Bidiyah and finish on the shore of the Arabian Sea.

The Oman desert has an average high temperature of 25 degrees during the day, and an average low temperature of 17. 3 at night, providing perfect January conditions for the Oman Desert Marathon.
