What is the Paris Motor Show?
Also known as the Mondial de l'Auto Paris, this is one of the world's biggest international car shows and takes place in Paris every two years in October.
Over a million visitors and thousands of journalists from across the globe meet for this event at Paris' exhibition hall, the Porte de Versailles.
The Paris Motor Show features brands and vehicles from all over the world, from the most famous to less-well-known models, from city cars to top-of-the-range cars, and from hyper-sporty cars to electric vehicles.
All players from the worldwide motor industry are there, including equipment manufacturers, factory owners, specialists in alternative energy and on-board electronics, as well as many service companies.
At the show, car fans can admire the latest-generation vehicles, visit a historic exhibition, and take advantage of late-night opening hours on certain dates.
Need to know
The Porte de Versailles is well located only 15 mins from the Eiffel Tower. You can get there easily by taking the metro, a bus or a taxi.
Did you know?
Mondial de l’Automobile was the world’s first motor show when it was launched back in 1898.
