What is the Siesta Key Crystal Classic?
Every November, international sand sculpting artists flock to Siesta Key in Sarasota to compete in this world famous sand sculpting competition.
The sculptors use tons of sand to create a large community carve, 8 solo sculptures and 8 team sculptures. On Saturday evening, the sculptures are lit up under colored lights after sunset.
The timed competition is judged and the winners are revealed on the Sunday afternoon.
There are plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained all weekend including science and craft activities for the kids, a program of live music, a well-stocked bar and a huge vendor village with some really great food options.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online including single and multi-day passes.
