The Smithsonian Folklife Festival, established in 1967, honors contemporary living cultural traditions.
The Festival will showcase the rich array of traditional artists from across the country who has received the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) National Heritage Fellowship, the nations highest award for excellence in the folk and traditional arts.
Visitors can enjoy live music and dance presentations, craft workshops, cooking demonstrations, and evening concert series.
