The Stan Rogers Folk Festival, informally known as Stanfest, is an annual Music Festivals held in Canso, Nova Scotia.The Stan Rogers Folk Festival celebrates real songwriters and musicians who put their body and soul into every note and lyric they utter. Across several stages, over hundreds of acts put their musical skills on display in the great outdoors. Established in 1997 in honour of the late Canadian folk singer and songwriter Stan Rogers, the festival bills itself as "Canada's Songwriter Festival", showcasing Canadian and worldwide grassroots musicians in all genres.
