What is the State Fair Of Virginia?
The State Fair of Virginia is held annually at the end of September at the Meadow Event Park in Caroline County, Virginia.
Each year, Virginians gather from far and wide to compete in livestock and agriculture competitions, learn about the state's commodities and culture, see farm animals and savor a delicious fair treat.
There are tons of activities and attractions including exhibits, live music, fine arts and crafts and plenty of vendors offering souvenirs, clothing, belt buckles, and various unusual designs.
It wouldn't be a state fair without carnival rides! Even small children can enjoy special rides like a merry-go-round and the slow speed airplane rider.
There's a whole host of family friendly entertainment for all ages. So what are you waiting for? If you are planning an early fall trip to Virginia, make sure you stop by the unmissable state fair.

This is a ticketed event and passes can be purchased in advance. There are even unlimited ride wristbands available for the thrill seekers out there!

There is also the Heritage Village which takes fairgoers on a walk back in time to explore the significant changes in technology and lifestyles. The village includes displays with tractors, steam engines, tools and children’s toys that have been used in Virginia since the early 1900s.
