Berlioz Festival, one of the biggest gatherings in classical music takes place every year in late August.
For a fortnight, around 50 events are held and over 1,000 artists are invited. Around 20,000 spectators come to hear the major works of the Romantic repertoire, most of which are played in the courtyard of Louis XI Castle.
There are also recitals, chamber music, and contemporary creations in the medieval hall, the Berlioz farm, and the churches of the neighboring communes.
