What is the Zermatt Marathon?
The Zermatt marathon is a unique running competition that takes place every summer in one of Switzerland's most stunning locations.
For those brave enough to take it on, the Zermatt marathon route stretches from St Niklaus (1116m) to Riffelberg (2582m). The course covers 4,2195 meters and climbs over 1900 meters. This may be a grueling route in the heat of the summer sun, but participants are rewarded by the breathtaking panorama!
