The La fiesta de la Virgen de la Candelaria en Puno or the Festivity of Virgin de la Candelaria is the largest festivity in Peru.
Hosted in Puno, participants and visitors celebrate the indigenous and colonial traditions through dance and choreography. About 30,000 dancers and 8,000 musicians, all dressed in traditional clothing, make this festival truly memorable!
This festivity was even inscribed in UNESCO's list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
