What is the Wisconsin State Fair?
The Wisconsin State Fair draws more than one million visitors each year who come to soak up all the traditions of this historical event.
The Wisconsin State Fair celebrates agriculture and other industries that belong to Wisconsin’s rich history and promising future. The fair is family-friendly, affordable, safe and educational. It is suitable for all ages and ethnicities and creates memories and traditions that will be carried on for generations.
Alongside the agricultural exhibits, you'll find 30 entertainment stages, hundreds of food and beverage concessions and multiple marketplaces to indulge in a spot of shopping. The fair is full of exciting attractions such as the Giant Slide, Sky Glider, Daily Parade, and more.
Need to know
Take advantage of one of the many advance discount pricing options to save money on your trip to the State Fair by purchasing your ticket in advance. If you purchase concert tickets to a Main Stage show, admission to the State Fair is also included for the day of the show.

The first Wisconsin State Fair has a long history and was first held in Janesville along the banks of the Rock River in 1851.
