Following the release of their latest album, ‘72 Seasons’, heavy metal icons are embarking on a huge world tour in 2023/2024. The extensive tour will stop in many major cities across the globe including Chicago, Los Angeles, Paris and Madrid.

Metallica formed in the US in the early 1980s and quickly became known for their distinctive sound which combines heavy metal, thrash metal, hard rock and speed metal. The band released their first album, ‘Kill 'Em All’, in 1983, followed by Ride the Lightning in 1984. '72 Seasons' is Metallica’s 12th studio album and it follows up 2016's 'Hardwired... to Self-Destruct' which reached #1 on the Billboard 200 and was nominated for Best Rock Album at the Grammy Awards.

Metallica has scored dozens of hits over the years including ‘Master of Puppets’, ‘Enter Sandman’, ‘For Whom the Bell Tolls’ and ‘Fade to Black’. Metallica has become one of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time and has sold more than 125 million records worldwide. The band was inducted into the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009.
